Filippo Napolitano

Although none of the records indicate that Filippo owned his own farm, he was a miller and a farmer in the Parantoro section of Montalto Uffugo. Born around 1819 to Luigi Napolitano and Maria Rua, Filippo lived a very long life. His death record indicates that he was 90 years old when he died in 1907. I have found very few records of people from Montalto Uffugo who lived to be 90 years old. Filippo married Caterina Nicastro probably in the early 1840's. Over a period of 27 years Filippo and Caterina had at least 11 children together. Caterina died in 1904.

Filippo's Children

Filippo & Caterina had 11 children and out of these 11 children, Filippo outlived at least 4 of them, three of which died in their 20's or younger. One daughter, Filomena, died at the age of 84. I beleive I will find more children before I am done researching the records. Below is a list of his children.
