Angelo Napolitano

Napolitano coat of arms Angelo was born on 24 February 1853 and was the son of Vincenzo Napolitano and Caterina Filippo. Angelo worked as a farmer in the Parantoro frazioni of Montalto Uffugo. At the age of 23 Angelo married Aguilina Napolitano. During their 28 year marriage they had 10 children together. Aguilina died in 1904 leaving Angelo a widow with 6 children under the age of 18 to care for. His older daughters Fiorentina Agnese and Assunta Maria probably helped with the younger children until they married in 1906. Sometime after 1910 and before 1914, Angelo married Filomena Fava. They had a daughter they named Angela Napolitano in 1914. In 1932 Angela married Pasquale DeRose. It is unknown when Angelo died.

Aguilina Napolitano

Aguilina Napolitano was born on 3 July 1858 in Montalto Uffugo. Her parents were Giuseppe Napolitano and Rosina Lucchetta and she was the 5th of 11 children born to them. In 1878 Aguilina married Angelo Napolitano. Two of Aguilina's older sisters had previously married 2 of Angelo's brothers so the families were well acquainted. She had 10 children throughout her 28 years of marriage. Her last child Vincenza Virginia Napolitano was born in 1902. Two years later Aguilina died in 1904 at the age of 45.
